ABOUT JASON

My name is Jason Legris, a lifelong Renfrew resident, husband to Tracy, and father of three boys. With 25 years of leadership experience at Circle K and 13 years serving as a standby dispatcher for the Renfrew Fire Department, I’m committed to putting community, service, and common-sense leadership first as your next mayor.

I grew up in Renfrew with my parents Gary and Debbie Legris and my sister Francine. My father worked for Renfrew County Housing and volunteered with the Renfrew Fire Department; my mother cleaned offices and babysat. Those early lessons in hard work, community service, and looking out for your neighbors shaped who I am today.

I began working at 15 at local businesses including Renfrew Rental All and Pizza Pizza, and at 16 I became a standby dispatcher for the Renfrew Fire Department — a role I proudly held for 13 years, dispatching police, fire, and other emergency services. I’m currently married to Tracy Legris (Clemmer). Tracy owns and operates the Circle K / Shell in town, and together we’re raising our three sons: Tanner, Landon, and Liam.

Professionally I’ve spent 25 years with Circle K Convenience Stores Inc., serving as corporate manager, store operator, branded market manager, and now District Manager. I also led the CARE business resource group across Canada, the United States, and Europe. After years focused on family and work, I decided to bring my leadership and community-first values into local government and ran for council in 2022.

Now, I’m running for mayor to build a safer, stronger Renfrew where hard work is rewarded and everyone has a voice.
